It includes proper mode and carrier selection (to maximize service and minimize cost) and shipment routing and scheduling. It also allows you to evaluate pooling (both assembly and distribution) as an economic alternative to direct shipment and to identify continuous move and backhaul opportunities.
On-Demand TMS® computes accurate audit-quality rates, as a by-product of the planning process, that are conveyed to the carrier when the shipment is tendered and are passed through to the self-billing settlement process. It also computes individual savings for each load and the total savings for the plan; these are retained for Business Intelligence.
